Valentine’s Day Desserts

The “official” day for celebrating love, Valentine’s Day, is already upon us.  Aside from the fact that I can’t believe it is already the middle of February, I generally don’t get too excited or wrapped up in the hype of the day.  I generally enjoy making a low key dinner at home, or sometimes grab take-out, and make a special dessert for my hubby.  I’m not really a chocolate lover and rarely jump to the occasion to make something chocolate for dessert.  But since my sweetie is addicted to chocolate, I try to make it about him.  My gift to him :)

I’ve made this chocolate souffle a few times with great success so this is my go to choice.  Below are a few new ideas that I am thinking about too.  Of course, I don’t really have too much time.   I meant to plan ahead with this last week but we were in NY at the IFB conference and I got off track.  But these desserts should not take too much time and no matter what, your loved one will simply enjoy the gesture.

Molten Lava Cakes

They all look pretty tasty, it’s going to be hard to choose.  Which will you try?
