Springtime Eats

If you haven’t realized from our posts the past couple of days, we are more than ready for spring around here!  Ready to say goodbye to bundling up in the house to feeling footloose and fancy free in the outdoors.  I know we’re a little early since it’s not officially spring, but our clocks have moved forward and so are we!!  And since we’ve already discussed getting our wardrobe and closets ready, its time to get those palettes ready for the upcoming tasty, seasonal eats.

Here are a few dishes I’ve added to my “must try” list:

spring breakfast

avocado toast with goat or feta cheese, raspberry and rosewater smoothie, blueberry banana cake

spring salads

spring potato salad, fig and speck salad, spring tabbouleh salad

spring mains

spring sandwich, tofu tostadas, prosciutto asparagus and parmesan pasta

spring dessert

cherry granita, whole lemon tart, raspberry lemon cupcakes
