Mango-Orange Yogurt Pops
As a child, I loved to get ice cream pops from the ice cream truck during the Summer. Nothing has changed really, just now I make my own or buy them from the grocery store. Making your own pops is always the best idea as you can control your ingredients. I’m a bit excessive about reading food labels and knowing what’s in stuff and picking the best for my family. So, I decided to make my little girl some kid-friendly fruit pops. I had one mango, some greek yogurt, orange juice, and honey. I looked up a quick recipe and in 10 minutes they were in the freezer. Very easy, very fast!! We had a Friday sweet treat ready to go once she got home from school. At first she wanted nothing to do with them, but after she took one lick, she was hooked and quickly gobbled it up.
Here’s what you need…
1 cup of diced fresh or frozen mango (1 mango) or any fruit you like
1 cup of greek yogurt
1 teaspoon of orange juice
1-2 tablespoons of honey, depending how sweet you want it
kid-friendly ice pop molds
In a food processor or blender, add diced mango, yogurt, orange juice, and honey and blend until smooth and creamy. Taste a bit, if it’s to your liking pour or scoop into ice pop molds. Freeze for 6 hours or overnight. To enjoy, just run a little water on frozen pops for easy release. You and your little ones will definitely enjoy! June sure did!
Enjoy the last days of Summer with these yummy Pops!!!
