Buvette NY & Schiller’s…
Happy Thursday, BBBird readers!! The Ladybirds took The Big Apple on this past weekend. We had two full days and a half to hit all the spots on our lists, take photos, and take it all in. Four girls in the city with lists? We tried, but we needed a full week to accomplish what we really wanted to do. All in all, we had a fabulous time eating, shopping, laughing, and catching Uber and Lyft!
On my NYC to-do list, I wanted to hit Schiller’s Liquor Bar and Buvette NYC. I can say, I made it to both! I arrived early Friday morning, checked us in. Ladybird T arrived soon after and we hit Buvette NY. From the moment I walked in I was in love. The ambiance and friendly staff did not disappoint. It was a taste of Paris right in New York. From the petite menu to the petite portions, Buvette NY is my new favorite neighborhood gem. Located in the popular West Village, you don’t want to miss this when visiting NYC. We ordered the Avocado Toast, Croque Madame, Scrambled Eggs with Prosciutto on toast, Belgian Waffle sandwich, and of course, my Cafe Au Lait. Everything was so yummy and very memorable. We won’t forget, Buvette!
Then that evening we hit up Schiller’s Liquor Bar. Now, this has been on my list for a few years now and the last time I went to NYC with Ladybird D somehow I was talked out of going. Well, this trip I was not going to let the happen again. We made the trek down to the Lower Eastside. Leaving the hotel around 4:30, it took some time due to traffic. When we arrived, I was so excited and couldn’t wait to experience it all. When we got there it was not crowded at all, but by the time we left the place was bustling…packed! We ordered cocktails and a few appetizers. Cocktails were amazing, but the food just alright. We all enjoyed it and will definitely be going back. If you’re looking for a cozy spot with great cocktails, this is your spot!
Good times with The Ladybirds in New York!! Stay tuned for more highlights next week.
