L.A. Gem: The Little Door
L.A. has some of the best restaurants and some have been around quite a long time and become L.A. Gems. Well, the husband and I finally made it to The Little Door for our 8th Anniversary. Yep, 8 years and we are still having fun enjoying and exploring L.A. The Little Door definitely did not disappoint. Truly a gem! Amazing food and a cozy ambiance. Not only do you feel like you are in some Mid-Summer Nights Dream hidden garden, but the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. Since it was our anniversary, they made us feel extra special. Compliments of the chef, they gave us a glass of champagne to start. We ordered Moroccan Carrot soup, Burrata with Prosciutto and Peaches, Roast chicken with a Quinoa cake, and the Lamb with kale and lentils and potato puree. For dessert, we had Chocolate Molten cake and Chocolate Pot de Creme. It was divine! So much flavor and we ate every bite. If you are ever in L.A., splurge a bit and check out this little gem.
